A million pixels. A very real goal.

Pixels for Bricks is a modern tribute to the wonderfully chaotic internet of the 1990s and early 2000s.

The wall contains exactly one million pixels. Individuals, creators, businesses and organisations can request a block for an approved image and link.

Together, all those small digital spaces form one enormous online mosaic — and one unusual attempt to create a place to call home.

Why build a million-pixel wall?

Because buying a home in the Netherlands has become incredibly difficult.

Instead of waiting for the housing market to become easier, one Dutch guy decided to try something different: rebuild a famous internet idea for a new generation.

No wealthy investor. No large company. No secret marketing team.

Just one person, one bold idea and one million empty pixels.

The identity behind the project stays deliberately in the background. The wall, the community and the experiment are the real story.

Built in the Netherlands. Open to the world.

Clear before you decide to pay

A free request is reviewed first. If it can be accepted, the package, position, total and separate payment instructions are confirmed by email before you pay.

After confirmed payment and final content approval, you receive a visible block on The Wall with an approved image and clickable link.

This is not an investment product, donation platform, cryptocurrency or promise of financial return. It is a creative online placement in a public internet experiment.

  • Clear pricing
  • Manual content approval
  • No payment on the website
  • Published placement rules
  • Direct contact by email

Before you request a block

Is a request already a purchase?

No. A request is free and takes no payment. When an available position is submitted successfully, it is reserved temporarily straight away so another request cannot overlap it. The placement becomes final only after review, separate payment and written confirmation.

Can anyone buy pixels?

Individuals, businesses, creators and organisations can participate, provided their content follows the placement rules.

Can I choose my position?

Yes. You can choose an available position on The Wall. A successful order request reserves it immediately while the administrator reviews the content and link.

What content is not allowed?

Illegal, hateful, misleading, explicit, infringing or otherwise harmful content will not be accepted.

Can I change my image or link later?

Changes may be possible under the conditions and fees described in the placement policy.

Your pixels are waiting.

Choose a preferred place and submit a free request. The first confirmation email asks you to reply with your square logo or image for review.
